12-23rd November: Paradise Palette Art Exhibition. Opening night 12 November, 6.30pm, at Royal Queensland Art Society, 162 Petrie Terrace, Brisbane.
17th November: The ‘network day’ at Chatswood, 9.30-11.30am, Chatswood Bowling Club, located just off the Pacific Highway between Chatswood and Mowbray Road. When coming from Chatswood on Pacific Highway, turn East at Payless Tyres (Gordon Avenue) and then turn left onto a small nondescript lane called Hammond Lane. There is plenty of parking in front of the clubhouse. And the Chatswood train & Metro stations are just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Bowling Club. It helps to email Roy Ranney to let him know you’ll be there or just turn up. No charge, but please bring BYO food and drinks to share. There is an urn to make tea/coffee. The agenda is simply “social networking” (e.g. telling stories).
